Therapeutic Approach
Therapy can be scary as you make your most inner thoughts, fears, and dreams known to another person. I know from personal experience how therapy can be frightening, but once you build a trusting relationship with your therapist you will be amazed at how much better your life can be. My theory of choice is generally family systems therapy, Attachment Therapy, EMDR , Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and/or Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. However, each individual is unique and there is not a magic bullet approach that works for everyone. Your treatment will be customized to fit your specific needs and goals in order to address your current challenges. With compassion and understanding, I will work with you to help you build on your strengths and attain the personal growth you are committed to accomplishing.
Personal History
I was born in
I’ve known from a very young age that I wanted to work in the helping profession as a therapist. Helping others overcome the hardships of their lives is my passion. Through my own personal challenges, I’ve grown as an individual and as a therapist. I know what it is like to feel overwhelmed with sadness, grief, and anger and to have a fear of what tomorrow will bring. I also know what it is like to move past those feelings and to give life a second chance. I am truly grateful for the challenges I have encountered as they have made me a stronger person and have enhanced my ability to assist others.
I look forward to talking to you soon.
