Therapy can be intimidating as you make your most inner thoughts, fears, and dreams known to another person. Susan knows from personal experience how therapy can be somewhat overwhelming initially. Once you build a trusting relationship with your therapist, you will find the results are well worth the effort. Susan’s theories of choice generally include Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Attachment Focused Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) , and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). However, each individual is unique and there is not a magic bullet approach that works for everyone. Your treatment will be customized to fit your specific needs and goals in order to address your current challenges. With compassion and understanding, Susan will work with you to help you build on your strengths and attain the personal growth you are committed to accomplishing.
